We all have the potential to be better. Unlocking this potential requires a combination of motivation and tools. If someone wants to unlock their potential, they already have the motivation, and they just need the tools to get there. As a leader, it is your job to ensure your team has those tools.
I want you to take a look at the people you interact with every day. Who has reached their full potential? Probably nobody. Who does not care about reaching their full potential? I am sure a few people popped in your mind. Who wants to unlock their potential? Those are the men and women we should be focusing on.
Look into your toolbox and share your tools. This week, I want each of you to share at least one tool with someone that is looking to better themselves. If you are comfortable helping people grow, share something that is difficult and further out of reach for them, if you are still getting used to helping people grow, find something easier, like a technical skill in an area they already know something about.
